Nursing Program?

Monday, June 27th, 2011

How long after you send your application to a Nursing program do you get accepted or rejected?Who gets results first? The person being accepted or the one being rejected?Or is it just the same for both?Totally depends on the school. Some take applications on a first come first serve basis, others have an application time window of several weeks or months and then evaluate all the applications at the same time.Hopefully you'll hear something within a few weeks at most, but call your admissions office and ask them – they are the only ones who can tell you their timeline.Good luck to you

What percentage of nurse aides work in a nursing home?

Thursday, June 23rd, 2011

I'm a certified nurse aide, but would rather work in a hospital. I'd rather starve to death than working in the nursing home. You have to be flexible.especially, in this type of economyHospitals are not hiring at this time until the economy is improving and people are gaining back their health insurance. But if this is your choice.then good luck to you

nursing assistant?

Saturday, June 18th, 2011

I took a nursing assistant classes about 3 years ago. Things came up that I didn't have a chance to take my test to get license. So now am looking for work in a assistant living or independent living place. what I need to know is that do i need to get license in order to work in any facility. Please help if you are in the nursing fieldCheck back with the school that you took the classes at. They should be able to provide you with information. They should also be up on whatever requirements are in place from your state licensing. (If you are in the states.)Good Luck.
